Good Morning all,

"When they were cast into the furnace, Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego made no effort to fight the flames.  They did not RESIST nor did they COMPLAIN."

How are you dealing with the trial?

We are told to submit to God and RESIST the devil, not the trial.  We submit the trial to God by casting the care of ourselves to Him in the midst of trial.

We resist the devil best when we praise God, "singing psalms and hymns, making melody in our hearts to God".  The devil hates praise.

Look at your loveliest little tea cup in your house.  That is like you.  It had to go through many firings in the furnace after being moulded by the Potter, and so do you.

When it was considered strong enough from the time spent in the furnace it was finally given many layers of adornment, made beautifull and put to good use;  the same with us.

We are also told by God not to murmur and complain in the wilderness.

So..............SING!   I am a little teacup short NOT stout,

here is my handle here is my mouth

When I'm in the furnace I'll not pout

                                  God will hear my praises

                                   And lift me out.

AND AGAIN I SAY SING, SING, SING.

I know this works if you put the WORD to work.

Love,

elisha
